Tim’s approach:

Show up, dig in, and get it done right — no excuses.

Based out of Milladore, Wisconsin, Tim Elmergreen runs Gateway Industrial Automation with one goal — keep extrusion lines running better than new. With over 2 decades of hands-on experience in aluminum extrusion and automation, he’s the guy companies call when things need fixed, tuned, or completely rebuilt the right way.Tim’s background covers it all — from hydraulics, alignment, and furnace tuning to PLC logic, data analytics, and full-system retrofits. He’s been in the trenches troubleshooting 7”, 8”, and 10” log furnaces, aligning presses, rebuilding pullers, and optimizing plant automation from the shop floor to the controls cabinet. At Gateway, Tim focuses on building practical, high-reliability solutions that improve uptime, safety, and throughput. His clients count on him for direct communication, sharp diagnostics, and results that show up on the bottom line — not just on a spreadsheet.

When he’s not working on an extrusion press, you’ll probably find him wrenching on his classic Corvette or chasing deer through the Wisconsin woods.
